Sports Medicine Packages

Structured, expert-led programmes to help you recover from injury, rebuild properly, and return to sport with confidence.

A Smarter Route Back to Sport

At Halo, our Sports Medicine Packages are designed for people who want more than a quick fix. Whether you are dealing with a new injury, a recurring problem, or need support getting back to training properly, every journey starts with a thorough assessment to understand the issue, identify the root cause, and work out what your body needs next.

From there, we recommend the most appropriate level of support for you. These are not session bundles or generic treatment plans. They are structured programmes built around clear diagnosis, personalised rehabilitation, and the right level of expert guidance to help you recover well, reduce the risk of the problem returning, and move forward with confidence.

Got a question?

Here are helpful answers to common queries about treatment, access and appointments. If you need anything else, just get in touch – we’re here to help.

How much does a women’s health assessment cost?

Our specialist Women’s Health Initial Assessment is £110. For postnatal women, we offer the comprehensive Halo Healthy MAMA Assessment, which includes a tailored plan and resources for £135. Women’s Health Follow-up appointments are £65

Are internal examinations required?

An internal pelvic floor assessment is often the best way to diagnose issues accurately, but it is entirely optional. We always proceed at your pace and only with your full consent.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. If an internal assessment or physical check is needed, we provide towels and ensure your modesty and privacy are strictly maintained at all times.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No, you do not need a GP referral to book an appointment. You can self-refer directly to our specialist female physiotherapists and get fast access to the care you need.

Is it normal to leak after having a baby?

While leaking (incontinence) is very common after childbirth, it is not normal. Physiotherapy is highly effective at restoring pelvic floor strength and helping manage leaks. NICE CG 123

Can you help me if I had my baby years ago?

Absolutely. It is never too late to start physiotherapy. Whether you gave birth six weeks ago or twenty years ago, we can still help you improve your symptoms.

What happens during a pessary fitting?

If you are experiencing prolapse, our specially trained physio can assess you and if appropriate fit a supportive silicone pessary to relieve symptoms, allowing you to exercise and live comfortably without surgery. This usually takes place over two appointments, with Pessary package options available.

Can I bring my baby to the appointment?

Yes, of course. We understand that finding childcare can be difficult for new mums. You are more than welcome to bring your baby or child into the treatment room with you.
