Expert Back & Neck Pain Treatment in Kenilworth

Back, Neck & Spine

Back and neck pain are the most common reasons people visit us, but no two cases are the same. You might be worried about a disc issue, or frustrated that rest hasn’t worked. At Halo, we don’t just treat the pain; we look at your posture, movement, and lifestyle to stop it coming back.

Lower Back Pain and Sciatica

Lower back pain can range from a persistent dull ache to sharp, limiting pain that affects how you move, sit, and sleep. It may develop suddenly or build over time due to strain, disc issues, or changes in how your spine and surrounding muscles function. Sciatica occurs when irritation of a nerve causes pain to travel into the buttock or leg.

At Halo, our expert clinicians carry out a thorough assessment to identify the true source of your pain. We combine hands-on treatment to reduce discomfort with targeted rehabilitation to restore movement, improve strength, and help you return to normal activity with confidence.

Neck Pain & Headache Treatment

Neck pain, tension headache, or neck pain as a result of whiplash, can be incredibly frustrating, often severely impacting daily focus, sleep, and overall mood. Spending hours sitting at a desk, or driving, often in poor posture, frequently contributes to deep muscular tension and stiffness. Our in-depth assessment involves posture education and ergonomic advice, exercises to assist with mobility and strengthening, and manual (as indicated) to reduce restriction. Our primary goal is to restore comfortable, pain-free movement, ease frequent headaches, and empower you with practical advice and strengthening exercises to maintain a healthy neck long-term.

Spine & Disc Conditions

Being told you have a ‘slipped’, herniated, or bulging disc from another health care professional can feel alarming, but it doesn’t mean you will need surgery or prolonged rest. Our clinicians specialise in evidence-based, non-invasive spine rehabilitation. We can carefully guide you through safe, progressive exercises and targeted manual therapies to relieve nerve pressure and reduce inflammation. A personal designed program means we can actively support your spinal health, rebuild your physical resilience, and help you get back to moving confidently and safely again.

Got a question?

Here are helpful answers to common queries about treatment, access and appointments. If you need anything else, just get in touch – we’re here to help.

How much does treatment cost?

An initial physiotherapy assessment is £105, which allows plenty of time for a thorough diagnosis and your first treatment. Standard follow-up appointments are £62.

Do I need a scan first?

No. We can assess and diagnose most back and neck issues clinically without needing an MRI or X-ray first.

Do I need a GP referral?

No, you can book directly with us. We can liaise with your GP later if further medical investigation is required.

Will the treatment hurt?

Hands-on treatment can sometimes feel mildly uncomfortable on tight areas, but we always work carefully within your pain tolerance.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your condition. We provide a clear, realistic timeline after your initial assessment so you know exactly what to expect.

Can I claim through my health insurance?

Yes, we are recognised by major private health insurers. Please check your specific policy details before booking your appointment.

Should I rest my back until it stops hurting?

Prolonged rest often makes stiffness worse. We will guide you on how to keep moving safely to encourage faster healing.

Do you treat chronic or long-term back pain?

Yes. Even if you’ve had pain for years or previous failed treatments, our holistic approach can help significantly improve your symptoms.
