Got a question?
Here are helpful answers to common queries about treatment, access and appointments. If you need anything else, just get in touch – we’re here to help.
How much does the assessment cost?
When should I book my appointment?
We generally advise coming in around 6 weeks postnatal. However, if you are experiencing pain earlier, please contact us sooner.
I had my baby years ago, is it too late?
Not at all. Whether you gave birth six weeks ago or six years ago, we can still significantly improve your core strength.
Can I bring my baby with me?
Absolutely. We understand that finding childcare is difficult for new mums. Your baby is always welcome in our private treatment rooms.
Does it include an internal examination?
Internal checks are the most accurate way to assess pelvic floor strength, but they are entirely optional and only performed with your consent.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Please wear comfortable, loose activewear. We will be assessing your movement, posture, and core, so gym clothing is ideal.
Do you treat C-section scars?
Yes. Our clinicians are highly trained in evaluating and treating tight or painful C-section scars to improve your mobility and comfort.
Will you help me get back to running?
Yes. A major focus of our assessment is creating a safe, progressive loading plan to help you return to high-impact sports safely.
