What the Course Covers
✅ Practical CPR for babies and young children using specialist paediatric training manikins
✅ Safe and correct use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in paediatric emergencies
✅ Recovery position for infants and young children
✅ Choking response for babies and young children
✅ Dealing with external bleeding and wound management in children
✅ Recognising and treating shock in children
✅ Management of illness and injury in children
✅ Burns treatment and management
✅ Anaphylaxis recognition and emergency response in children
✅ Seizures and breathing difficulties in children
The two days combine structured classroom learning with extensive hands-on practical exercises, ensuring participants leave fully confident and compliant with all Ofsted and EYFS requirements.
