Got a question?

Here are helpful answers to common queries about treatment, access and appointments. If you need anything else, just get in touch – we’re here to help.

How much does cancer rehab and scar therapy cost?

Please contact our reception team for current pricing on initial oncology assessments with scar therapy. We provide clear, transparent costs before you begin your treatment.

Is this safe during chemotherapy or radiotherapy?

Yes. Our specialist oncology physio tailors everything to your current treatment stage, ensuring exercises and therapies are appropriate for your body right now.

Do I need a referral from my oncologist or GP?

No, you can self-refer directly to us. However, we are very happy to liaise with your oncology team or breast care nurse to ensure seamless, integrated care.

How intense is the exercise?

Not intense at all. We always work exactly at your pace and energy levels. The focus is on gentle, restorative movement to build confidence, without any pressure to push yourself.

What if I’m feeling too emotional or tired for my session?

That is completely normal. If you are fatigued, we can adjust the session to best suit how you are feeling at this time.

Can my partner or family member attend with me?

Absolutely. We welcome partners, family members, or carers to join you in the treatment room if it helps you feel more comfortable and supported during your appointments.

When is the right time to start scar therapy?

Scar therapy can begin once your surgical incisions have fully healed and closed. However, it’s never too late, we can significantly improve tight or painful scars years after your surgery.

Can you treat scars that aren't from cancer surgery?

Yes. Our Restore scar therapy is highly effective for a wide range of surgical scars, including C-sections, joint replacements, and trauma scars, helping to relieve pain and physical restriction.
