Reach Without Restriction. Targeted Treatment in Kenilworth for Shoulder & Upper Limb Pain.

Restoring Pain-Free Upper Body Movement

Shoulder and upper limb pain can severely impact your ability to work, sleep, or play sports. Whether it stems from a sudden sports injury, repetitive strain, or postural overload, our expert clinicians look beyond the symptoms. We conduct a detailed movement assessment to uncover the root cause, delivering a targeted rehabilitation plan to restore your long-term function and confidence.

Shoulder Pain & Rotator Cuff Injury Treatment

The shoulder is a complex, highly mobile joint, making it susceptible to conditions like rotator cuff tears, impingement, and frozen shoulder. These issues can cause sharp catching pain when lifting your arm or a deep ache at night. We use advanced hands-on therapy to reduce acute pain and stiffness, followed by a progressive, structured strengthening programme to restore your shoulder’s full range of motion, stability, and load capacity safely.

when reaching overhead or lifting

A deep, dull ache

that disrupts your sleep

Weakness

or a feeling of the arm “giving way”

Stiffness

and a severe loss of mobility (frozen shoulder)

Tennis Elbow & Tendon Pain Treatment

Tendon issues like tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) or golfer’s elbow are stubborn repetitive strain injuries. They rarely resolve with rest alone and can make simple tasks like gripping a cup or typing incredibly painful. Our specialists provide targeted manual therapy and soft tissue release to ease immediate tension. We then implement a tailored load management and progressive strengthening plan to heal the tendon, increase tissue resilience, and stop flare-ups.

on the outside or inside of the elbow

Sharp pain

when gripping, twisting, or lifting objects

Stiffness in the elbow joint

Pain that worsens

after racket sports, lifting, or desk work

Wrist, Hand & Nerve Conditions Treatment

Conditions affecting the wrist and hand, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, repetitive strain injury (RSI), or post-fracture stiffness, require precise management. Nerve compression can cause tingling, numbness, and shooting pain that interrupts your focus. We thoroughly assess your upper limb nerve mobility and joint biomechanics. Through hands-on joint mobilisation, nerve gliding techniques, and tailored strengthening, we relieve nerve pressure, reduce inflammation, and help you regain full dexterity and grip strength.

Got a question?

Here are helpful answers to common queries about treatment, access and appointments. If you need anything else, just get in touch – we’re here to help.

How much does a physiotherapy assessment cost?

An initial physiotherapy assessment is £105, which allows plenty of time for a thorough diagnosis and your first treatment. Follow-ups are £62.

Do I need an X-ray or MRI first?

No. Our senior physiotherapists can accurately assess and diagnose most shoulder and elbow issues clinically without needing scans beforehand.

Can physio help a frozen shoulder?

Yes. While a frozen shoulder takes time to resolve, hands-on treatment and targeted mobility exercises can significantly reduce pain and restore range of motion.

How long will my recovery take?

Recovery timelines vary based on the specific injury or surgery. We provide a clear, realistic timeframe during your initial assessment so you know what to expect.

Will I need surgery for a rotator cuff tear?

Not always. Many rotator cuff tears respond exceptionally well to structured physiotherapy and progressive loading, helping you avoid surgery entirely.

Do you treat tennis elbow?

Yes. Tennis elbow is a common tendon issue. We use load management, hands-on therapy, and progressive strengthening to resolve it for the long term.

Can I claim through my health insurance?

Yes, we are recognised by major private health insurers. Please check your specific policy details before booking your appointment.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Please wear a vest top or a loose t-shirt so we can clearly see your shoulder, neck, and arm movements during the clinical assessment.
