What the Course Covers
✅ Practical CPR for babies and young children using specialist paediatric training manikins
✅ Safe and correct use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in paediatric emergencies
✅ Recovery position for infants and young children
✅ Choking response for babies and young children
✅ Dealing with external bleeding and wound management in children
✅ Recognising and responding to shock in children
✅ Minor injuries and appropriate response
The day combines classroom learning with hands-on practical exercises, ensuring participants leave with the skills and confidence to act quickly and calmly in a paediatric emergency.
