Private Pessary Fittings in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

You don’t have to live with the discomfort of a prolapse or rush into surgery. Experience immediate, non-surgical support in a calm, completely private environment.

Immediate Relief, Unhurried Care

A pelvic organ prolapse can cause a heavy, dragging sensation that makes simple activities like walking or gardening feel uncomfortable. A vaginal pessary is a soft, flexible silicone device fitted internally to act like a scaffold, supporting your pelvic organs and providing immediate relief. We know that NHS appointments can sometimes feel rushed or impersonal. At Halo, our specialist female physiotherapist gives you the time, dignity, and expert attention you deserve to find the perfect, comfortable fit without the need for surgery.

Got a question?

Here are helpful answers to common queries about treatment, access and appointments. If you need anything else, just get in touch – we’re here to help.

How much does a pessary appointment cost?

Our specialist Pelvic Health Initial Assessment is £105. If a pessary is the right option for you, the cost of the silicone device is charged separately.

Will the fitting hurt?

No. While it may feel slightly unusual for a few moments, a correctly sized and fitted soft silicone pessary should be completely comfortable. You shouldn’t even notice it’s there.

Do I need a GP referral?

No, you do not need a referral. You can book directly with us for fast, private access to a specialist.

Can a pessary replace the need for surgery?

For many women, yes. A pessary provides immediate structural support to the pelvic organs, which is often enough to entirely resolve symptoms and avoid surgical intervention.

How long does the appointment take?

We allocate up to an hour for your initial assessment. We pride ourselves on offering unhurried care, ensuring you have plenty of time to ask questions.

Will I be able to manage it myself?

Yes, our goal is to empower you. Depending on the type of pessary, Gemma will teach you exactly how to safely remove, clean, and reinsert it yourself.

Can I still exercise with a pessary?

Absolutely. In fact, by relieving the heavy, dragging sensation, a pessary often allows women to return to walking, Pilates, and exercise with total confidence.

What happens if it doesn't fit right?

Finding the perfect fit can sometimes take a little trial and error. We schedule a follow-up review to ensure your pessary is perfectly sized and comfortable.
